50-60 bucks for two people but we did get a lot of food. they have a sauce/dessert bar that is solid. There are a lot worse options than here.

A surreal hot pot experience from the moment you walk in. I think what brought a lot of people to Liu's is their very interesting interior design. They tried to fuse the feeling of riding a train and being in a club at the same time. There's handle bars hanging from the ceiling and a silver mannequin encircled by glass. Very futuristic in the most traditional way. My description isn't making much sense, but neither does the decor. Maybe thats why I like it so much. The atmosphere is lively because they're usually packed while the service is attentive and quick. Another thing that this place does differently is that their soup bases already contain a lot of meat. So there's not much need to order other meat plates. The downside of that is the soup bases are more expensive so you don't get as much variety in sides without spending a lot. We got the frog legs and spicy beef brisket as soup bases. Both delicious and the meat was very flavorful and delicious. The side dishes were fine, but my only complaint is with the beef slices. They only sell fatty beef and there's no other option! And It has way too much fat. I ended up spitting most of it out and only ate the lean parts. Not an ideal eating experience. I gave this place 4 stars because the flavors are there and the ambience is truly something to experience. However the price point of the soup base and the unpleasant fattiness of the beef slices prevent me from giving Liu's a full score.

Tried this place for the first time and the decor inside is so cool! Ordering is super easy on your phone, the food comes quickly, and it's an easy self serve sauce bar. We got the two soup meat combo, it's a great deal for four people! We got the original meat flavor and tomato base. There was a decent amount of meat, but Im only giving it 4 stars because they gave us a lot of tendon instead of meat. The flavor of the soup bases were really good and there were a decent amount of other toppings in the soup. I also loved that they offered watermelon and other snacks at the sauce bar. Id definitely come back here and get the Bouncy Beef Combo again!

I've been seeing Liu's Hot Pot on my Instagram videos, so I thought it was about time to check it out myself. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Chinese hot pot, as I usually prefer Shabu Japanese hot pot. However, Liu's Hot Pot had a really cool and futuristic vibe, even though it looked smaller than in the videos. The hosts and servers were friendly, although the language barrier made communication a bit difficult since they didn't speak much English. As it was our first time there, we were a bit confused about what to do, and with the language barrier no one explained how the process worked here.. However, I liked that we could conveniently order everything online. One thing I wish they had mentioned was that the soup bases we chose would came with a generous amount of meat and veggies. If I had known, we wouldn't have ordered so many sides. Lesson learned for next time! A highlight of our meal was definitely the fresh noodles, which I highly recommend. They were much better than eating this with rice. We tried both the beef and lamb base and enjoyed them, along with various sides. The wings and chicken appetizer were an absolute delight, with the perfect crunch. However, the Panda Beers, while tasting good,it was so sweet. They ended up tasting more like a wine spritzer. As for the drinks, one of the cocktails we ordered unfortunately tasted like cough syrup, so they were a bit underwhelming. Overall, our experience was good, and we concluded that the beef was definitely more flavorful than the lamb. We left satisfied and with a plan to return and explore more of the menu. Liu's Hot Pot has piqued our curiosity, and we look forward to trying out other dishes on our next visit!" Also a tip for those who visit Liu's Hot Pot. When you have extra broth left, take it home and add some top ramen ( or your fave noodles) the next day. Trust me, it's soooo good! The broth becomes even more flavorful, making for a delicious meal.

This is a pretty cool new concept hot pot. At its core, it's a beef stew combined with a hot pot. While having the stew, one can add veggies and other ingredients hotpot style. We enjoyed this new concept. The beef stew is delicious and slightly chewy which adds the texture. It's on the heavy seasoned side for sure. Their dessert really surprised me. The 冰镇银耳烤雪梨 Cold Snow Fungs with Baked-Pear is one of its kind and a must try. The service is pretty good overall. The ambient is modern/club style, which looked nice. The price is for sure on the expensive side. It'll be more cost effective if you come in as a large group.
